HAUL!

Aright! this is a huge haul from Sephora and London Drugs. OK! Lets get to it!
This is Revlon Illuminance cream shadow in 710 Not Just Nudes. I just bought this today and I have it on now, I really love it! Although I have noticed it does crease after half hour or so but this might have to do with the fact I have oily lids and a slightly hooded eye which does tend to cause me more creasing with my eye shadow. I do love this and would highly recommend this if you are looking for an cream eye shadow.

Smashbox brow tech in taupe. This is an ok product I probably wont be purchasing it again seeing as it is smaller than it looks and I don't like using the wax, I can find a cheaper brow filler without the wax which does the same thing, I also find it to just a little bit to dark the light shade is perfect but I would like to have the lighter version to fill then add a little bit of colour. If you are looking for a more high end product I would say get the Urban Decay brow tech as it is $5 more but it's 3 times as big comes with tweezers and a brush and I've herd good things from that product.

Revlon colorstay shadowlinks in Lilac which is a pearl and Plum which is a matte, I'm not sure why I keep buying these as the matte's are horrible, I just really wand to like them. This defiantly the most convenient eye shadow, but the matte's I find are very un pigmented and don't blend at all they just rub off, the pearls are super pigmented but I haven't tried blending them together yet. I will admit they are good when i want a very subtle look when I go to and I don't want to much make up.

Maybelline Master glaze Blush Stick in 20 Pink Fever. I LOVE THIS! This is the best cream blush I've bought, it blends easily and you can build it up, this goes on super smoothly and isn't clumpy or thick its thin but very pigmented, I love this so much I really want to get this in their coral orangy shade.

Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. This is just a cream base its goes on clear and it is amazing! It;s a little pricey but I think it's 100% worth it. My lids are very oily and this helps my shadow stay on all day from when I put my make up on at 7:30 to when I take it off at night it stays on flawlessly it is amazing! I would highly recommend this as a base for people with oily lids.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in intense black. This is a sample from Spehora and the colour for the full sized one is called black is called Jet black, I cant imagine a difference in the colour other than the name, I really like it, easy to use goes on smooth, I have nothing bad to say about it I would recommend it, not to pricey but you might be able to find something cheaper which does the same thing.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in fair. This is a meh product its ok it doesn't really cover up under eye circles but it covers up redness around my nose but I find it really orangy and it doesn't 100% blend well into my skin unless I rub it in with my fingers which I'm not a big fan of. I probably will be looking for a better concealer when I'm done with this one probably a cream and maybe a better brush as well.

Maybelline Dream Fresh 8-1 BB cream in light/medium. I just got this today and I'm really liking it, I just put it on a few hours ago and my skin feels great and looks good, it goes on smooth and blends very easily, I can't say to much about this as I did just get but so far I like it, has light weight coverage I would not recommend this is you have a lot of blemishes or redness and need a heavy coverage.

L'oreal Nail Color in Royal Reinvented. This is a nice colour it goes on smoothly a little bit thin but overall a good cheap nail colour, nothing special but it definitely is a good nail polish.

Annabelle Twistup Retractable Lipstick Crayon in Divine. I got this for free today when I went to London Drugs as the lady helping me really liked me so she gave me a little present. This goes on super smoothly, it has no taste which its nice because I have a colour similar to this which I liked and it tasted like soap. It doesn't stay on for to long but it doesn't dry out your lips which is great. Overall it's a good product I probably won't be buying more though.

Essie Nail lacquer in peach daiquiri. This is my first Essie product and I'm not sure why and I always knew these were one of the best nail polishes around. I put this one on yesterday and it has chipped slightly but I didn't put on a top coat and only 2 coats of essie. This is a great polish but I'm sure everyone knows that and I should just go on to review my next product ;)

Maybelline Colour Elixir in 005 Breathtaking Apricot. Holy Crap does this moisturize my lips not mention the colour last for most of the day, I put this on at night just to try it out after I got it and once I got up I could still feel it and see it on my lips and they were very soft. It's not overly glossy, I was very apprehensive about getting this as I find lip gloss is a little bit primary and I don't like the overall look of a gloss, but this has more of a lip butter appearance it is highly pigmented, I highly recommend this for dry lips.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 027 Juicy Papaya. This product is amazing! A lot better than the Maybelline Whisper it stays on longer its really similar to the elixir I just reviewed but its in stick form, its great I have  nothing bad to say, its pretty sheer and I will be finding another colour I like although it did take me 30 mins to decide on this one as I am very picky about my lipsticks.

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede in 060 It Girl. This really does stay on all day! I find it sticky. This product is really great if your going some where and you don't want the hassle of reapplying your lipstick all day. I put this on then went for coffee and it didn't move at all I could drink my coffee and didn't have to worry about my lipstick going anywhere! Buy this right now!

Wow this Haul took me forever to do! I just kept buying things and I think I'll put my card in a place where I wont use it for a while, expect a Birthday Haul next week including my first visit to Lush and Mac as well as a Sephora and PINK haul!

Make up Haul

I went to London Drugs the other day and this is my haul! It is small but only because I'm saving up for New York and Disneyland this year, so expect bigger hauls in the future!
Maybelline colour whisper in Pin up peach 30 $6.99(on sale), Maybelline dream bouncy blush in pink plum 40$7.99(on sale), Revlon colourstay shadowlinks
in sand which is a pearl and chocolate which is a matte$3.49 each, and Rimmel London soft Kohl kajal eye-liner in jet black$4.99(on sale).I did also get Physicians Formula mineral glow pearls in translucent pearl, but I sadly forgot to photograph it with the rest of my haul as I got it earlier when I went to the states.
I do really like this product, however it is expensive. the first layer is sparkly and is deceiving and after the first use is losses its sparkle but having said that, it does give a nice glow just above the apples of the cheeks or the brow bone. Over all good product but I recommend waiting until it's on sale.
I really love this! I highly recommend it, and I plan on buying more. it has a bit of shine and it is a sheer lipstick. It's very moisturising although it does wear off quickly it doesn't make your lips dry at all. I just cannot get enough of this stuff, it goes on really nicely. I really would like to get this in the who wore it redder and and mad for magenta.

Firstly I want to apologize for this crappy photo, my camera is broken so I've relying on my Iphone and trying to hide lights and keep up with no shine is very hard, I do promise it will get better! Ok on with the review! liking it is to weak a word but love is a little strong so its in between, when I took off the seal the snap broke and now it doesn't close properly, I read the reviews on the Maybelline website and someone else had the same problem, so if you do purchase it just be careful. Now the product it's good it blends supper nicely and melts into the skin really beautifully if you are going for a more natural look this shade (pink plum 40) is perfect. Applying it is a bit awkward as you have to use your finger (ring finger is best) and just swirl it around the blush and then on the apple of your cheeks just build it p as much as you want or just a little for a subtle flush.
I do like this product, however I was upset to find out it was not very pigmented and I find one eye is always darker than the other and it might have to do with the way I'm holding the brush. It does blend nicely it could blend a bit better but I would recommend this for beginners as it is lighter so if you make mistakes they aren't noticeable, or if you just want a very natural look for the day, they are cheap and they slid together so you can make your own palette which is one of the reasons I bought them. I was also disappointed in the lack of colours they had as most of them are bright vibrant colours, they only have a select few of browns and only 2 shades of green which both happened to be either to dark or light for my skin tone, these were really the only 2 colours I really did like, I really hope they come out with a matte black and a pearl white would also be lovely. Having said all of that it is a good product and I probably would buy more in the future.
I've only used this product once and I really wasn't happy with it. I did cat eye and then in my waterline and it didn't stay in my waterline and it wore off on my eyes, (I did rub the little flick a lot that day so that probably had something to do with it rubbing off) I wasn't to pleased it could rub off so easily as I usually have a hard time finding good pencil liner in black, which is actually black and not a dark grey or sparkly, so I was happy when I tested it on my hand and it was actually black. I will test it again but I probably will go out and find a better pencil liner.

Art Institute of Vancouver Lunch

I was able to go to the Art Institute of Vancouver today to check out the culinary program (amazing by the way I will apply and pray I get in, everyone there seems super nice the instructors are amazing and they try to help you get a job in what you would like to do) while we were there we got a tour of the campus and got to observe the students, my one regret is not observing more and asking more question, damn my shyness! We were able to try some pork taquito's with sour cream and the best guacamole I've ever had.
This is mint basil pink lemonade with pink sugar around the rim and a lemon for decoration. WOW! was this amazing, super sweet I add but we couldn't get enough of it, I admit to looking like an idiot trying to lick the sugar out of the inside of the glass but I don't care it was so good, I had to savour every drop.
My entrĂ©e was Chinese egg noddle, with a pork sauce, it was ok I wasn't a fan of the pork sauce but the presentation was just so beautiful I had a hard time mixing it as I didn't want to wreck this master piece. There really wasn't much to say about this dish, it was just ok if the sauce was better I would have liked it more.
I have never had a better dessert, I cannot even begin to describe! Mint whip cream chocolate fudge, berries dipped in white chocolate ganache with oranges and white chocolate disks. every bite was a different explosion of flavour. The fudge with the whipped cream or with the berries or the orange which was my favourite by far! This dessert was truly amazing and from what I've herd the culinary kids don't enjoy the pastry side and are nervous but this was just amazing and I wish I could have told them not to worry because this was just awesome.

If you live near The Art Institute of Vancouver, I highly recommend going to the second floor bistro, it is fantastic! I did have pork pot stickers for an appetizer however I sadly forgot to photograph it, but they were amazing and if you go get them! It's fairly inexpensive, as my meal came to about $19 + tax. Just keep in mind they are student chefs and our pot stickers got burned and they had to start over so I wouldn't go in expecting  high quality food without mistakes.
